Friendship Day, not just a field trip!
Friendship Day connects students from Montreal’s special needs & mainstream schools in an inclusive social experience at Friendship Circle. Scheduled during school hours, students from both schools are paired one on one, and together they share in team-building activities, learn life skills, and enjoy sports, art or cooking together. Students with special needs experience meaningful social interactions with typical peers, and all participants meet new friends and gain an appreciation of the importance and how-to of inclusion.
Participating schools include Summit School, Giant Steps, Selwyn House & Hebrew Academy.
Friendship Day works best with one class. If you’d like to send more then one class, you can request multiple Friendship Days
